EVENTS
A few rules before coming to an event at our farm:
Leave no trace - please dispose of your waste properly, use recycling bins for aluminum only and take with you what you have brought.
No dogs - please be considerate of our free range chickens and our property guardian dogs by not bringing your pets. If you did bring your dog they MUST BE ON LEASE AT ALL TIMES.
Children are welcome to play, BUT must be attended by an adult at all times. Please do not allow your children to climb on farm equipment, enter barn or chicken coops.
Please do not pick vegetables or flowers unless it is part of a group activity - respect our space as a working farm. All produce is allocated for business purposes unless otherwise part of a community activity.
During tours and community activities, please wear closed toed shoes, bring your sun hat, water, and sunscreen.

September 4th - Plant a Culinary Herb Garden (10am to 12pm)
Join us on September 4 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for planting your very own natural herb garden! After the session, you are welcome to stay on the property until 1:00 PM to picnic, explore, with supervision or fish in the pond.
This event is designed for children from preschool through 8th grade and adults. Participants will get the plant their own culinary herb garden, getting a taste for the outdoors and gardening. Each family will have their own herb garden to take home!
Details:
- Cost: $35 per family
Additional garden boxes can be purchased for $25.
Farm School Fridays:
October 9th - Make a Worm Farm (10am to 12pm)
Join Lovelight on October 9 to make a worm farm and learn how worms benefit soil! This FSF includes a farm tour and materials to take home. Families are welcome to stay and have lunch on the property until 1:00 PM.
This event is designed for children from preschool through 8th grade and adults.
Details:
- Cost: $35 per family
Additional worm farm materials can be purchased for $30.
November 6th - Make a Mushroom Log (10am to 12pm)
Join Lovelight on November 6 to build a mushroom log and learn about mushrooms! This FSF includes a farm tour and materials to take home. Families are welcome to stay and have lunch on the property until 1:00 PM.
This event is designed for children from preschool through 8th grade and adults.

Additional mushroom log materials can be purchased for $40.
