kohlrabi fritters

Your kids will love these!

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 Kohlrabi bulbs (grated)

  • Butter

  • Batter of your favorite flour (sprouted spelt) or bread crumbs, salt and pepper.

    Instructions

  • Grate the kohlrabi bulbs

  • Pat them dry

  • Fry in a skillet on medium hight with ¼ cup of your favorite oil. I like grapeseed for frying.


    Serve with a savory cashew cream!

  • Soak 2 cups of cashews for at lest 3 hours or overnight

  • Drain off water

  • In a blender add cashews, juice of one lemon, 2 cloves roasted garlic, 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, salt/pepper, ½ cup water and blend until creamy

  • Refrigerate and serve as a dipping sauce
